The Nene Valley Fostering Agency was set up in 2001 by Sue Fowler and Rachel Vickery who are social workers with expertise in adoption and fostering gained by years of experience working for both Local Authorities and the private sector. The founder members have extensive experience as practitioners, trainers and in the management of children's services.

NVFA is a limited company based in the market town of Oundle in Northamptonshire eleven miles from Peterborough in the East Midlands. We are pleased to accept referrals from Local Authorities in England and Wales and we help Local Authorities to find suitable homes for children from a range of backgrounds and ethnic origins

We value enquiries from people wanting to learn more about fostering who live in Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Peterborough, South and East Leicestershire, south Lincolnshire, and we provide planning, support and training for Carers in order to develop their skills.

Nene Valley Fostering Agency’s aim is to work in partnership with Local Authorities and carers to ensure that the children and young people in our care benefit from a stable, happy, caring and supported environment.
